Apostle, Saundra L. Hagans
Apostle Saundra L. Hagans is a dynamic servant of God and the visionary founder of Covenant House of God Church. Since 1993, she has faithfully led the ministry with a heart for salvation, healing, and deliverance. Her powerful preaching and intercessory prayers inspire believers to grow deeper in their walk with Christ and step boldly into their divine purpose.
WHO WE ARE
We are a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered church with a mission to reach the lost, rebuild lives, and revitalize communities through the love and power of God. Founded in 1993 by Apostle Saundra L. Hagans with just fifteen people in her living room, Covenant House has grown into a vibrant ministry that impacts lives far beyond its walls.
Our heart beats for the broken, the seeking, and the found. Together, we’re a family united in worship, prayer, and purpose, reflecting God’s kingdom here on earth.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Covenant House of God Church, our beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s Word:
We Believe in one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We Believe in Jesus Christ's deity, virgin birth, sinless humanity, selfless death, atoning blood, bodily resurrection, and ascension to Heaven.
We Believe in salvation by Faith in Christ alone, without works, and solely by grace.
We Believe the Bible is the Word of God; fully inspired and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; and it is our rule of faith and practice.
We Believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence speaking with tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance; that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid in operative today; and that the fruit of the Holy Spirit should be increasingly evident in a Christian’s life.
We Believe that the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ provides healing for all spirit, soul, and body.
We Believe in the need for spiritual growth through Bible study, prayer, witnessing, and involvement in a Bible-believing Church.
We Believe in the demonstration of the spirit and power, and that our faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God.
We Believe in obedience to our Lord's command to lead people of all nations to faith and maturity in Christ.
We believe in the imminent rapture of the Church and Christ's personal return to establish His kingdom on earth.
WHY COVENANT HOUSE OF GOD WAS CREATED
Just as God’s covenant with Abraham was a promise of blessing and multiplication, we stand as a house where His promises are fulfilled, His blessings flow, and His people flourish. Covenant House of God church is a place where lives are restored, destinies are birthed, and His glory dwells.
The name Covenant House of God is inspired by God’s eternal promise to His people. Our core scripture, Genesis 17:2 (AMP), declares: “And I will make My covenant between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly."
